Omniprove and CPIS (our training partner) have developed a one day training course to provide qualified and experienced auditors with a good overview of the software engineering world in order for them to develop their skills and competencies to audit software development activities.
The course provides guidance and information to support non-software auditors who need to conduct audits of non-high risk and non-critical software development activities. The target audience is competent auditors who are unfamiliar with software terms and concepts, but are experienced and competent in auditing.
Candidates on this course should have attended an Internal QMS Auditors course, or similar, prior to attending this course and have had experience in conducting internal or supplier management system audits. Experience in auditing systems design and development activities, and an understanding of project management are also desirable.
The course is instructor led with numerous exercises and self-test points during the day. It concludes with a short test which, if the delegates pass, will result in a formal achievement certificate. Delegates who do not pass the test will receive a certificate of attendance and will have the opportunity to undertaken some on-line learning and associated re-sit test.
