PRM Tab Overview

The PRM tab is where you enter the PRM data about your organisation's management system processes. Before you can do this you need to load a BPL (Control tab) and create a PRM (Setup tab).


The PRM tab has the following sections:

Process section

Lists all in-scope processes. You cannot edit this field

Output/Attribute section

Lists all in-scope outcomes and attributes. You cannot edit this field

Standards section

Lists all references to applicable standards. You cannot edit this field

Practices section

Lists all in-scope base and generic practices. You cannot edit this field

Input Work Products

Lists all input work products related to the base practices. You cannot edit this field. Generic practices do not have input work products

Output Work Products

Lists all output work products related to the base practices. You cannot edit this field. Generic practices do not have output work products.

Defined Processes

Allows you to add one or more defined processes that relate to the selected process.

Organisational Practice

Allows you to enter a mapping to your organisation's process or processes that address the selected base or generic practice. This field is only available once you have selected a defined process.

Organisational IWP

Allows you to select one or more organisational input work products that address the base process library input work products. This field is only available once you have selected a defined process.

Organisational OWP

Allows you to select one or more organisational output work products that address the base process library output work products. This field is only available once you have selected a defined process.

Organisational Outcome

Allow you to enter a description of how your organisation addresses the base process library process outcome requirements. This is only needed for the Silver level and above.

Actions

This section allows you to add an action associated with the selected base or generic practice. For example, you may have identified that there needs to be some improvements in the organisational processes to fully address a base process library requirement.
